course description
So when exactly can I get my pension? And does this new Universal Credit (UC) affect me? With the introduction of UC, a ‘working age’ benefit, stealing the limelight, there’s a danger of older people’s benefits entitlement being left in the shadows. Find out how to make sure older people don’t miss out their rights.
This course is for people who provide advice and support to people of State Pension Age. It provides an overview of the benefits available to older people, in particular State Retirement Pension, Pension Credit and Attendance Allowance. It also covers the effect of Universal Credit for older people. It will give participants an understanding of the financial help that is currently available to older people with disabilities in a variety of circumstances.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO COMMISSION THIS AS AN IN-HOUSE COURSE TAILORED TO YOUR ORGANISATIONAL NEEDS PLEASE CONTACT INFO@DEVONCOMMUNITIES.ORG.UK
