Crediton Dairy showing how much it Love's Devon!

Crediton Dairy, one of the UK’s leading dairy drinks businesses, supplying more than 13,500 shops nationwide, has shown just how much it ‘Love's Devon’ with a £500 donation to Devon Communities Together (DCT), the Exeter-based charity that works across the county helping local communities to help themselves.

Phil Cork, Head of Milk Supply at the Dairy, said: “We are one of the UK’s leading dairy drinks businesses, but our roots lie in the heart of Devon.  You’ll find our products in stores nationwide and all of them are manufactured here in Crediton, from milk supplied by our group of local, family-run, dairy farms.

"Supporting our rural communities comes naturally to us, so when we heard about the DCT's 'Love Devon' appeal, we were delighted to make a donation to support the charity's works across the county.”

Elaine Cook, DCT CEO, commented: “We are delighted with Crediton Dairy’s generous donation.

"Our work is diverse, it can be difficult to explain all that we do, so we've created the 'Love Devon' tag.

"Whether we’re advising a Parish Council about staff recruitment, helping a community seek funds for a new village hall, or providing training and networking skills for rural entrepreneurs, we are doing it for Devon because we Love Devon.”

Crediton Dairy’s donation comes at a significant time for the Love Devon appeal. Devon Communities Together has been nominated as Mid Devon Show’s Charity of the Year for 2017 by Show President, The Rt Rev Dame Sarah Mullally, the Bishop of Crediton.

The Mid Devon Show is being held on Saturday, July 22, at Knightshayes, Tiverton. For more information about Love Devon and DCT, visit:
