About this Event

Finding sufficient funding for your community project, charity or social enterprise is always an issue. This workshop is for community groups and social enterprises in East Devon ONLY. It will:

• Explore funding opportunities for community projects and social enterprises – ‘from asking to earning’

• Advise on what makes a good funding application and you will get to practice shaping an application as a group

• Review your organisation or enterprise current finance plan and assess whether it is still fit for purpose, post-covid

• Identify new funding opportunities and translate them into income streams.

This online workshop is FREE for community organisations in EAST DEVON

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR:

Hannah has lived in Devon most of her life, apart from 3 years in London as National Director of Learning for the School for Social Entrepreneurs, where she set up the learning programme and regional Schools around the UK. She has worked for Devon County Council, supporting youth work and adult learning and for the National Lottery as a grants assessor. Hannah's long experience of working with rural communities as a consultant in social enterprise and voluntary sector development was then used in East Devon, managing projects involving youth, older people, carers and asset-based community development. Hannah is currently Enterprise Coach and Business Mentor for Devon Communities Together project ‘New Start Devon Enterprise Coaching’.

This workshop is funded by a grant from East Devon District Council and is supported by New Start Devon Enterprise Coaching – a programme funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
