Course Description

Do you know an STP from ICS? Are you wondering about how the newly forming PCN’s will affect how you work with the local GPs?

This course will allow you to ask all those random questions you have on the NHS, but weren’t sure who you could ask.  This course will be based on questions asked by delegates on registration with more spontaneous questions asked at the workshop, thus each course will be different.  However, it is anticipated that we will cover the Primary Care Networks which are currently being formed by groups of GPs, system working across Devon and who all the partners are, the recently merged CCGs into NHS Devon CCG and what that means for integration with the Councils, and where public health fits into the picture – all in a context of how local charities and small providers interact with the NHS and what all the changes mean for them.

aims and objectives

  • By the end of the workshop delegates will have a better understanding of the NHS in Devon and its direction of travel and how small providers within Devon are able to interact with it.
