Although a Cornishman by birth, I spent my childhood and young adult life in Plymouth, going on to university there too, so consider myself an honorary Devonian! I began my working life in management with a well-known high street retailer before moving into the voluntary sector to work in retail, hospitality and fundraising. More recently, I’ve undertaken some freelance work for several local charities and also volunteered as a Trustee.

As they say, “Home is where the heart is”. Having lived away from Devon and returned 15 years ago, I now appreciate how much it has to offer, especially the beautiful and varied coastline and countryside. For a keen walker and cyclist like me, you couldn’t ask for more!
