Description

Chudleigh Knighton Village Hall is wholly owned by the residents of Chudleigh Knighton Village and run as a charity by an elected committee on their behalf.

This is YOUR community building – a vibrant, friendly space to meet and make new friends. There are all sorts of activities and events run for all ages as well as the opportunity to hire generous spaces to do things yourselves.

The building is managed by volunteers – we are a very friendly bunch and always looking for new people to join us!

Our aim is to ensure the hall is available to individuals and organisations alike and to use the funds to maintain & improve the facilities of the hall for all villagers.

There are three meeting rooms and a large first floor hall with fully equipped kitchen, stage and ante room. The hall also boasts one of the few remaining full size snooker tables in the area. All these facilities are available for hire by residents and non-residents alike.

Hire Charges

The main hall costs £10 per hour to hire for village residents (£15 per hour for non residents) – this includes a free half hour set up and another to clear away. Meeting rooms are £5 per hour as is the snooker room. We’re happy for hirers to use any kitchen facilities – we simply ask that you care as much for the building as we do and leave it clean and tidy for the next user.

The Garden can also be included in the Garden room hire for an additional £5 per hour.
