Devon Communities Together has been running sessions for Devon rural businesses, organisations and social enterprises to ensure that they get the resources they need to face the economic and social challenges they are facing.

This Business zoom focus group will be exploring an outcome that was evidenced in an earlier focus group that ‘The majority of businesses in the Health, Social Care & Wellbeing sector identified difficulty in reaching out to clients, especially for businesses whose main trading activity predominantly relies on physical interaction (such as businesses providing services for the elderly, and people with mental health problems). Such businesses have had to /are exploring new business delivery models on how to provide services with less physical interaction.’ We will be exploring further ways of communications and accessibility options to avoid exclusion.

About your host

Annabelle Murray, DCT PM has been project managing DCT Devon Highlights project for the cohort of 55+ isolated and lonely, this has proved insight into how to engage and reshape project delivery to maintain reach and even increase participation from place based to virtual for the identified cohort group. Dominic Ginley Hine is a digital marketing expert and strategist and has worked with over 50 different businesses varying across an array of industries. His think out of the box methodology for how to reach and engage clients will help to assist in giving options for the focus group to consider.
