Rural Housing Administrative Officer

Location: Exeter office and hybrid working 

Hours: 0.4 FTE (14.5 hours per week) 

Salary: £9,925 per annum (£24,812 FTE) 

Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2026

 This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a leading community development charity in Devon.    

 Devon Communities Together is seeking a well-organised and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Rural Housing Administrative Officer. This part-time flexible role supports the delivery of affordable housing projects across Devon’s rural communities. 

Working under the guidance of the Rural Housing Enabler Manager, you will help deliver Housing Needs Surveys, support the Devon Community Housing Hub, and provide administrative assistance across our housing work. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

· Plan and deliver Housing Needs Surveys (postal and online) 

· Monitor responses and ensure accurate data entry 

· Provide administrative and financial support including document management, communications, purchase orders and invoices 

· Assist with marketing and communications, including website updates and stakeholder engagement 

· Support the organisation and delivery of meetings (online and in-person) 

· Contribute to Devon Community Housing Hub activities as required
