Description

Formerly a baptist Chapel built in 1850 this building fell into disrepair and it has subsequently undergone extensive refurbishments. IT comprises a multifunctional hall (the old chapel) accommodating 60 seated on soft chairs, or 120 standing plus an open plan fully functional kitchen.

The foyer area seats 9 people comfortably on soft chairs and can be used as a consultation venue for group activities, or as a small meeting room/ prayer room.

The hostel annex which adjoins the chapel via a stair case from the foyer has two dormitories accommodating 10 people in each. A girl's washroom upstairs and separate boys washroom downstairs. Both washrooms have undergone refurbishments in recent years.

There are also three leaders rooms each accommodating 2 persons in an up-and -over double bunk and a small basin.

In total the maximum bedding occupancy in the hostel is 26 persons.
