Rural Enterprise Solutions

1st October 2018 - 30th September 2019

Devon Communities Together has received a grant from the Prince’s Countryside Fund to deliver the second phase of the Rural Enterprise Solutions project, offering free advice and support to would-be entrepreneurs, new businesses, and community enterprises across rural Devon.

Perhaps you’ve got a business idea that you’d like to get up and running. Or you have a hobby that you’re thinking of turning into a business opportunity. Maybe you’ve started your business, but now need some advice and support to grow. Perhaps your community is interested in coming together to save the local shop or pub, but don’t know what to do. We can help!

We’ll be delivering a FREE programme of Launchpad networking events, 1-2-1 mentoring and support, and providing online resources and training opportunities.

Sign up to our first Launchpad event of 2019; Launchpad at The Lighthouse
A FREE networking and information sharing event hosted at The Lighthouse Sidmouth co-working space – a community interest company by kind permission of Cathy Debenham and Louise Thompson who will also each give a short talk followed by a Q&A session on:

“The 3 biggest lessons I've learned from starting my own businesses”.

The event is also a chance to network with others, to share learning and experiences and to build all important local connections. Rural Enterprise Solutions toolkit resources will be available and the project manager, Louise MacAllister, will be on hand to answer any specific questions you may have. Free drinks and some snacks provided!
