Working towards Net Zero
From enabling grass roots community wildlife projects through small grant funding, to helping households conserve energy or supporting local organisations to become greener, we’re committed to working towards Devon’s Net Zero target by 2050.
Our community development experts are delivering initiatives that identify barriers to becoming more sustainable and support communities to overcome them through accessing funding, knowledge sharing and direct support.

Devon Climate Emergency

Devon Climate Emergency is a partnership of local authorities, emergency services, businesses and voluntary organisations dedicated to taking action on climate change in Devon. The mission is to empower Devon to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to net-zero by 2050 at the latest, prepare communities for a warmer world and improve the resilience of Devon's environment to the effects of climate change.
