Jon joined Devon Communities Together with a passion to support communities build resilience, strengthen partnerships and develop locally led solutions and create meaningful, sustainable change.
His background is in social enterprise, creative learning and socially engaged practice. He co-founded Fotonow CIC and has since helped establish a number of community-focused organisations and collaborations across Devon and the South West. Jon is also a Director at the Plymouth Social Enterprise Network, and a committee member of Mixed Families Together, supporting inclusive community initiatives.
He brings experience in community engagement, partnership development and co-design, working across sectors including arts, education and cultural heritage. His work often uses creative approaches to engage people and ensure underrepresented voices are heard.
Alongside his community work, Jon has held lecturing roles at Arts University Plymouth, Falmouth University and UWE Bristol, supporting students in photography, creative practice and social action.
